As its starting to get colder, I’ve been looking to add some more staple winter items to my wardrobe.
My favourite time of the year for fashion is this period where its cold enough for faux furs, knee-high boots and roll necks, but we haven’t reached that – degree temperature. Last year by January when the snow hit us hard, I will admit I was more about mountain climbing boots and puffer coats down to my ankles like I was about to explore the north pole just to get into work. Fingers crossed we don’t have the same state of affairs for early 2019.
With that said, I wanted to try something a little different and came across Caris Closet on Instagram.
‘Having originally launched as an occasional dress rental store in Ireland, Cari’s Closet has quickly become the destination for fashionable, glamourous trend setters. Giving style inspiration to women across the globe’
The pieces arrived in two big black boxes. Something I really like when paying over £100 is nice packaging as to me this is a nice purchase for myself. Cari’s Closet didn’t disappoint.
I styled these items with a black, roll neck dress from I saw it first, Quay Australia sunglasses and a wrap over a handbag to head for Sunday lunch.
This gilet has also worked over my leather jacket or grey sweatshirt, with jeans and trainers for a more everyday look for work.
I love having a winter item that goes from day to night which isn’t a coat, I’ve had so many compliments wearing this gilet. Both items are great quality and I will definitely be shopping with them again!
